The Meteorological Service of Catalonia, in conjunction with TVC Multimèdia, offers you images from the Catalan Radar Network.

If you have a multimedia mobile phone with a GPRS service, you can send the word Radar to 7210. You will shortly receive a text message with a link to the last available image. If you agree to view it, an Internet connection will be made and you can view the latest radar image.

The total cost of this service is 1.04 € (text message) plus the cost of the telephone connection to the Internet.

The radar image on view is made up from information provided by the meteorological radars in Vallirana, Puig d'Arques and La Panadella. The final composition is generated by superimposing the observations of the three radars up to a radius of 240 km around each one. The information relates to the intersection zone from more than one radar, based on the radar with the clearest observation of each point. This image is updated every 6 minutes.
